PHASE SEPARATION SOLUTIONS

Phase Separation Solutions was founded in 2005 by a group of successful environmental professionals who saw a service gap in the Canadian marketplace. This group having developed the TPS technology and worked with it around the world for 10 years decided to bring it back to Canada to meet a growing demand for the treatment of PCB impacted soil and oilfield waste reclamation.

Strategically located in Saskatchewan, the Wolseley Treatment Facility is one of the most securely constructed and broadly permitted facilities of its kind in Canada. Officially opened in 2005 it is located in Wolseley, Saskatchewan approximately 100 km east of Regina and 140 km north of the Bakken Basin. With 30,000 tonnes of approved interior storage, 60,000 litres of approved tank capacity and approved treatment capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year it is the only facility of its kind approved in Saskatchewan for the treatment of oilfield waste and the clear alternative to landfill.

The Company also found a lucrative niche market in the confidential destruction of expired branded cosmetics and ephedrine and pseudoephedrine after their removal from commercial use.  This application had such an impact on the market that the business was purchased by a major North American supplier within 14 months.
